MY BASES ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE A DRAWING REFERENCE OF ANY KIND! Their anatomy in most cases is at least flawed. If you need help in learning how to improve your anatomy skills, I'd suggest looking for free stock photos and other resources at places like dAPoses, Pose-Emporium, Reference-Library, AdorkaStock and many more :).
PS. If you ever see something made with my base or prop that I might have missed, let me know! ^^
What exactly do you want to know? What tools I use? Techniques? And what kind of shading do you mean? I just want to make sure I understand what you want to know...
For older bases I was using simple cell shading (no dithering or anti-aliasing). For recent bases (if there was any shading at all) I've been using pixel shading, often with heavy dithering (kinda like this, but I usually make those pixel by pixel).
