EDIT: I'm sorry about that big disclaimer on the image, but blame the people who don't bother to read the description... :/
_____

Pageant season is here and since I already saw some MDE entries made with the previous set (yay!), I thought I could make a few more poses :D.

Reference: lots of photos from the fabulous :iconsenshistock: - she'd love it if you stop by and leave her a link to your doll!

ABOUT THE DISCLAIMER ON THE IMAGE:

While I do realize that those bases could be used as drawing reference, they were not meant to - their anatomy is stylized and not 100% accurate. Moreover, they were referenced from the stock photos of the amazing SenshiStock - using the originals (photos) instead of the by-product (bases) for drawing reference is a much better choice! :)
(If you're looking for the exact poses I referenced, you can find them here.)

I always wondered of the female collarbone if only the top part is necessary and the jugular vein, is it necessary to draw that or to exclude it for the common female drawing?

I have no idea. I draw it like that mostly out of habit, I think. I guess it just depends on your style?... :? (Confused)

You are allowed - but if you need them as help for your drawing, original photos at SenshiStock are better :).

(And your English is fine )

I look at it more as ideas for poses.
That's why I put it in my reference folder. >~>

Why, it's not a reference sheet?
... I don't see why not.

The reason for that is clearly stated in the description - the original stock photos are much better as a reference :).

Reminds me of those featureless character forms that used to come with GURPS. These seem to be most suitable for characters with Professional Skill (Courtesan) and, of course, Sex Appeal.

I like how they are more realistic bodies, they have tummies and flesh on them, no exaggerated buxoms or booties, no ridiculous super thigh gap but vavavoom hips. Thank you for giving me hope for people's art of women ;-)

Well, they are based on a real person... ;P
(And now I have to thank you for making me realize that I should really work on more body type diversity in my regular artwork... So, thank you!)

:-) Any time! I like that this is something different than the "traditional" way to draw women, even Disney and Pixar fall into the trap (ever notice how much the girl from tangled and the two girls from frozen look alike? almost like carbon copies of each other?)

I would love and welcome art that shows women's different and true forms, instead of just big boobs and booty, pipe cleaner bendy spine, and the same facial style.

If you're still learning, you should try using stock photos (like those by SenshiStock I used for this) - their anatomy is not stylized and they show how the light lays on the form :).
